Starting a Home Based Tax Business

I plan on retiring from my bookkeeper job this fall and am worried if I will be able to financially afford it on my pension alone. I also worry that I will become bored and sedentary with too much time on my hands. Of course, I will enjoy having my days freed up especially with the holidays quickly approaching. But after the first of the new year, I want to find a way to make some extra money. Working from the comfort of my own home would be ideal. A friend told me about Keystone Tax Solutions software and suggested I look into it.

With my accounting background of 20 years, tax preparation would be a logical way for me to earn some extra money. Continue reading “Starting a Home Based Tax Business”

Really Helped Our Grow Operation

I started looking for a dry trimming machine right off the bat when the state finally legalized marijuana and we turned legitimate. In the bad old days, which weren’t all that long ago actually, it was possible to trim your buds by hand. Why wouldn’t it have been easy? We weren’t selling all that much because it was so risky to grow a lot. We would grow enough for a few pounds and do all the trimming by hand. It took a long time, and didn’t look as good, but it did the job. People weren’t picky back then.

But now that it’s legal? People are very, very picky about the product. There’s a thing called bag appeal and it applies more now than ever before. Continue reading “Really Helped Our Grow Operation”

Renter’s Insurance Options for My House

When I moved to Regina, I was pretty happy because it was a new start for me. I had been living in the United States for a while, but I was never able to fully feel comfortable there. When a job opportunity opened up in Regina, I immediately took advantage of it. I was able to find a really nice house to rent as well. It was not until I had been living here for about a month that I realized I should check a Regina insurance company about getting renter’s insurance.

I did not have a lot of valuable possessions, but I would still suffer a significant loss if anything were to happen to my things. If my house would catch fire when I am at work, I would more than likely lose everything because it is several miles from the fire station. I knew that renter’s insurance would cover more than just damages from a fire though. It would also protect against vandalism, theft and more. This is Better Than I Imagined

I was not looking for anything fancy when I decided to investigate some apartments for Brandon FL residents. I was just in the mood for a change, and I was looking to upgrade from where I had been living before I moved. Still, I was not looking for anything fancy at all. I just wanted something better, that is all. I found both! I knew as soon as I started looking at the picture gallery on the website for Overlook that I was going to really enjoy living there. It was not even a question if I wanted to, because that was a given as soon as I saw the pictures. Continue reading “This is Better Than I Imagined”

I Am Living in Orillia

I got here a couple of weeks ago and all of my stuff is currently in one of those storage units in Orillia. For now I am living in a hotel, but they are going to have the apartment ready in a week or two. Apparently there are not too many places here, at least not many which met the ideas I had. The town is in between Lake Couchiching and Lake Simcoe, about forty minutes North of Toronto by car I would guess. At least that was how long it took when I cam up here. The company is basically going to put me in charge here, but first they are going to train me for the job, while I do the job. Continue reading “I Am Living in Orillia”

Two Tyres Gone in a Day

I’m the kind of person who takes great lengths to take care of my car. I wash it once a week, regardless of whether rain will fall or not. I regularly change the oil and give the car a diagnostic to make sure all of the parts are functioning properly. I even check the pressure of all the tyres and the spare tyre. Sometimes proper care can’t overcome unforeseen circumstances. While driving one day, I ran over something and blew a tyre in Dandenong. I pulled over to the side of the road and took out my spare tyre and put it on the car. I started driving again, bu then I ran over something else and blew the spare tyre.

I had no choice but to find a tyre shop as close to my location as possible and buy a replacement there. I used my phone to plan a route to the closest store and use what little bit of air I had in the spare tyre to get there. Continue reading “Two Tyres Gone in a Day”

We Still Use Mechanical Beam Scales for Their Accuracy and Solid Build

I like precision mechanical balance scales for use in our store where we weigh out precious metals in grams. The electronic scales are nice, but I have been using the mechanical ones for so long without incident that I have grown to rely on them. Well, that is if they are made to exacting standards and have a proven reliability. We have been using Ohaus scales at our business for a number of years without any problems whatsoever.

I know that the younger generations are used to everything digital, but analog is very reliable. Analog scales allow you an infinite continuum in the range the scales can weigh. Digital is in discrete individual units. Therefore, I think a mechanical balance scale can be subtly more accurate than any digital scale. My Gram Does Not Like Flowers

My grandmother has never been the type to enjoy flowers. She has received some through the years and was very gracious in receiving them, but more often than not, they would end up at my house within a couple of days. For as much as my grandmother cannot stand flowers, I love them! I wanted to get her something nice when she fell ill a few months ago. It was a particularly rough illness, and she was bedridden for nearly two weeks. I ended up looking at Succulents in Melbourne because there was a nice variety, and I knew I would be able to find something that she would like.

While she is not a fan of flowers, she does not mind greenery at all. Yeah, I cannot figure her out either, but that’s okay. I found a florist in Melbourne who has a wide variety of Succulents, and I actually ended up getting one for myself too because of how unique it is. Continue reading “My Gram Does Not Like Flowers”

A Quick Introduction to Vaping

When I first started vaping, I did it as a way to get away from regular smoking. I had been smoking cigarettes since the middle of high school, and it follow me into college and my adult life. I hated having to buy those expensive packs of cigarettes and being hooked on them, but I just couldn’t shake the way they made me feel. A friend of mine told me that I should give vaping a shot and go to the Taft Street Smoke Shop to buy some equipment, because I would have a large selection of things to chose.

My friend wasn’t kidding about the selection, because there were so many flavors that I didn’t know where to begin. Continue reading “A Quick Introduction to Vaping”

Working on Getting My Thyroid to Do Its Job Better So I Can Have My Energy Back

Thyroid problems can have all kinds of symptoms. Plus, you can have an under-performing (hypothyroid) or over-performing (hyperthyroid) issue. I have read all kinds of things from a lack of energy to weight gain for hypothyroidism. I even read about how it is necessary to be careful with the medications to treat hypothyroidism to avoid potential cardiac risks. So much to consider for a tiny gland behind your throat that produces hormones. I looked into the Hypothyroidism Revolution review in considering alternative treatments to the synthetic thyroid hormones for problems with a hypothyroid condition.
