After MSD film’s success he has become a threat for star kids in the industry. The perfection with which he portrayed the character, people could see a rising future superstar in him.
So a malicious agenda was started against him.
1. Firstly they started planting fake stories, allegations, rumors, ridiculing him etc. in the magazines and articles. A sort of mental harassment and an attempt to divert his mind from work was created. But he was too strong mentally to be bothered about nonsense like this.
2. Then a social boycott was initiated against him to make him an outcaste from the industry. He was not invited to parties, awards functions etc. and also ignored by fraternity. But he was too bright to go this way also. Talent is not that easy to suppress. He was not doing acting for shallow things like money, fame, power etc. He was a brilliant guy who loved his work, he had a passion for acting. When you love your work so much it is not so easy to derail you. (Despite removing him from all their production houses films he still had plenty of work with him, he was that talented)
3. They realised that they need to do something concrete. Specific steps needs to be taken to sabotage him. So they used Rhea who was a struggling actress to win his trust.
